In this two module series, Dr Doug Benting presents a patient with a terminal dentition who will ultimately receive upper and lower fixed hybrid prostheses.

Part 1 focuses on treatment planning considerations for patients transitioning from a failing dentition to an implant retained prosthesis, as well as the clinical steps necessary for converting the immediate conventional dentures to provisional fixed hybrids. Both immediate loading and delayed loading approaches to the denture conversion are demonstrated.

This module is appropriate for study clubs with members interested in full-arch implant retained rehabilitation with the intent of maximizing interdisciplinary collaboration.

Learning Objectives:

Learn to use Facially-Generated Treatment Planning concepts with the terminal dentition
Understand implant planning as it relates to fixed hybrid cases
Learn both the immediate and delayed approaches to converting immediate complete dentures into provisional fixed hybrid restorations
